WATCH: Miley Cyrus releases new NSFW video starring her mother

Cape Town – Pop star Miley Cyrus is making a powerful statement in her new NSFW music video, titled Mother's Daughter. 

The new sultry clip echoes the theme of freedom of expression, eluded to in the song's lyrics, by using suggestive imagery. 

Some of the lyrics of Mother's Daughter are: "I came back to get me some/I'm nasty, I'm evil/Must be something in the water or that I'm my mother's daughter/Don't fuck with my freedom."

The video also features cameos from a slew of famous faces not least of which is Miley's own mother, Tish Cyrus who can be seen at the end of the video sipping a cup of tea with her daughter at her side. The video was released on Tuesday.
