KOLKATA: A Trinamool councillor's husband was found hanging inside his shop at Dum Dum on Monday morning. Though his family members claimed that the victim, 64-year-old Nirmal Kundu, was suffering from depression and could have committed suicide, cops have initiated a case of unnatural death. Nirmal had opened the shop around 7.30am in the morning.
Nirmal was the husband of Supriya Kundu, a councillor of ward no. 11 in Dum Dum municipality and a resident of Dum Dum's Kamalapur. He was also known as Trinamool leader in Dum Dum Town Trinamool Congress committee.
