UP Board exam 2020 to begin from February 18, 55 lakh to appear

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Prayagraj or Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board on Monday released the UP Board Class 10th and 12th examination schedule for the year 2020.
The UP Board Class 10th and 12th examination Time Table has been published online on the Board's official website - https://upmsp.edu.in
This was the first occasion when the UP Board released the board schedule on the first day of the new academic session.
As per the schedule released by Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Dinesh Sharma, board examinations will begin on February 18 next year. More than 55 lakh candidates will appear in these examinations.

While class 10 exams will last for 12 days and end on March 3, class 12 exams will continue for 15 days, with the last paper scheduled on March 6. The examinations will be held in two shifts - 8am to 11.15am and from 2pm to 5.15pm Deputy CM Sharma, who is also the state secondary education minister, told reporters: "The answercopies will be evaluated from March 15 to March 25. The number of the evaluators will be increased at every examination centre so that results are declared between April 20 and 25."
In 2019, board examinations had begun on February 7. On Monday, Sharma also released the academic calendar of classes 9 to 12 of UP Board schools to regularize the 2019-20 session of the secondary schools in the state. The month-wise academic calendar will be followed by all schools so that there is uniformity in syllabus, examinations, results and academic activities.
