Four die as car rams bus in Tamil Nadu

MADURAI: Four people from Coimbatore district died when a car they were travelling in rammed the rear of a bus near Pandian Nagar in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu in the early hours of Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Subramanian, 75, of Jallipatti near Pollachi, his wife Kamalam, 65, son-in-law Sekar and driver Ayyappan, 53. While three of them died on the spot, Ayyappan died after being admitted to Virudhunagar Government Hospital.
The accident happened on the Madurai-Virudhunagar four-way road. The car crammed the rear of a slow- moving State Express Transport Corporation bus.
