A private room in a desirable area of Sydney has been advertised for a bargain $180 a month.
The 'small sunny room', in Hurlstone Park, the inner west, is listed as the 'perfect' home for a student.
'Quiet house, privacy assured, not party house,' the Facebook marketplace ad reads.
Despite the bargain price, a picture of the tiny room shows an unmade bed, broken blinds, tissues on the floor and a toilet paper roll on the bedside table.

Some viewers were shocked the owner hadn't made the room presentable in photos but suggested they've 'seen worse'.
'Wow! That's shocking... Although I've seen worse pictures of rooming houses that are worse! And more expensive,' one person said in a group where the room was re-shared.
'The room isn't actually that bad, once you kick the slob out and clean it,' another said.
'I've lived in boarding houses when I was younger that were fully foul, floor sagging, bedbugs, absolutely filthy... $180 a month is a bargain.'

Others were mesmerised by the typically unheard of Sydney price.
'$180 a month in Sydney, not possible,' said one person.
The room also has its own entrance and is a three minute walk to the local station, where trains are a 20 minute trip into the CBD.
