West Indies captain Jason Holder won the toss and opted to bowl against Sri Lanka in a World Cup match here at Riverside Ground on Monday.
West Indies made one change in their team for this match as Gabriel replaced Roach who was unwell, while Sri Lanka made three changes for this match.
Sri Lanka are placed seventh on the ICC World Cup 2019 Points Table with six points from seven matches and need to win their final two games to keep semi-finals hope alive. They also need to keep an eye on the outcome of the England and Pakistan’s next matches.
