Water level in Periyar dam stood at 112.20 feet (permissible limit is 142 ft) with an inflow and a discharge of 100 cusecs each. In Vaigai dam, the level was 30.77 ft (71 ft) with an inflow of 2 cusecs and a discharge of 60 cusecs. Combined Periyar credit was 1,150 mcft.
