Thane: Four injured in gas leak fire at Kalwa

THANE: Four family members got injured in a fire triggered by gas leakage at New Shivaji nagar area of Kalwa East on Sunday morning.
An official from regional disaster management cell of Thane Municipal Corporation informed that they received a call about fire located at the house of Raghunath Patil near Datta mandir, New Shivaji nagar, Kalwa(E) and was attended with a fire engine.
The officer added that there was a gas nozzle leakage which triggered fire injuring the four family members identified as Raghunath Patil (55), his wife, Sampada Patil (50), daughter Rohini (25) and son Rohan Raghunath Patil (22).
They are undergoing treatment and the percentage of burns is yet to be ascertained, said an official.

The fire brigade successfully doused the fire and moved the four to Thane civil hospital for further treatment.
