Special OJEE to be held on July 21

BHUBANESWAR: Application process for second or special Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will begin in the state from Sunday. Last date to apply for the test is July 10.
The special OJEE will be held on July 21 for admission into B Tech, lateral entry to B Tech, MBA, MCA and lateral entry to MCA in engineering and management colleges in the state. It is a step taken by the OJEE to fill up vacant engineering and management seats in the colleges.
Students can visit www.odishajee.com and apply for the test between June 30 and July 10. They can download their admit card on July 15 before sitting for examination. Test will be conducted for one hour from 10 am to 11 am on July 21. Results will be published on July 25.
OJEE chairman S K Chand said candidates can download rank cards and register their names online for filling of choices of colleges between July 25 and 27. First seat allotment will be held on July 30. Final allotment of seats and reporting to the college will be conducted on August 3, he added.
“Candidates, who have already received rank in JEE Main 2019 for B Tech or OJEE 2019 for lateral entry to B Tech, MBA, MCA or lateral entry to MCA, are not required to appear the special OJEE,” said Chand.
Colleges have to verify the documents of newly allotted candidates and submit to OJEE authority along with the documents of college level admission of candidates. The allotment for this counselling will be done for the vacant seats left over after first phase counselling only, said OJEE notification.
