https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/pollution-news Based on the 2011-2015 data and WHO report of 2014/2018, 102 cities that failed to meet the prescribed standards were identified as non-attainment cities. As per an NGT order dated 08.10.2018, to improve the air quality, the city plans of these "non-attainment cities" were to be submitted to CPCB," a senior CPCB official said.

The other six were identified at Sector-16A Faridabad, Vikas Sadan Gurugram, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, Knowledge Park-III, Greater Noida, Sector-125 Noida and RIICO Industrial Area-III,
Bhiwadi.
The taskforce, which comprises members of IMD, Delhi Pollution Control Board and Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, had asked the corporations of Delhi and adjacent areas to take "focussed action in the hotspots". It had also asked all the agencies to ensure "effective implementation of the action plan".
