Two die in lightning strike in Maharashtra

BULDHANA: Two persons died Saturday after they were struck by lightning in separate incidents in Buldhana district of Maharashtra, police said.
While Shrikrishna Dhabal (69) was struck by a bolt from the sky while working in his field in Sangrampur taluka, farm labourer Yuvraj Gavande (35) died in a similar manner in Jastgaon villege, according to police.
Earlier in the day, heavy rains, accompanied by intermittent lightning, lashed this east Maharashtra district.
