Bharat box office collection Day 24: This Salman Khan starrer is still surviving.Salman Khan starrer Bharat is still surviving at the box office despite newer releases eating into its share. Its collection stands at Rs 209.16 crore, according to Bollywood Hungama.
Bharat had earned a whopping Rs 42.30 crore. But after its first week, it has not been able to repeat the consistency of some other Salman films.
The film has Salman portraying a man whose life runs parallel to India’s journey since independence. Bharat features Katrina Kaif as the female lead. The movie is Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar’s third collaboration. The two had earlier worked on Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, both of which proved to be massive successes. Tiger Zinda Hai also starred Katrina.
Tabu, Sunil Grover, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff also star in Bharat.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh had tweeted earlier that the film has moved past the Rs 200 crore mark. He had written, “#Bharat scores double century at the BO… Crosses ₹ 200 cr mark… Is best in North, although biz has slowed down in other circuits… [Week 2] Fri 4.30 cr, Sat 6.37 cr, Sun 6.19 cr, Mon 2.63 cr, Tue 2.32 cr. Total: ₹ 201.86 cr. India biz.”
Bharat's total box office collection
During an interaction with his followers on Twitter, film trade analyst Joginder Tuteja stated the total box office collection of Bharat. On being asked, the lifetime collection of the film, he replied, "215 crores #TutejaTalks."

Ali Abbas Zafar recently said, "It’s humbling to get so much love from audiences. When I set out to make a film, I don’t think about records. That’s never my approach. It could be a hugely limiting, pressurising proposition for any film-maker especially me because I value storytelling. I always set out to tell a story and thankfully, audiences have loved the way I’m telling my stories. The appreciation of audiences have empowered me to tell heartfelt and entertaining stories that the entire nation could go to the theatres and enjoy and call it paisa vasool."
Katrina Kaif on the success of Bharat
Overwhelmed with the positive response to her movie, Katrina Kaif told in a recent interview, "There is a lot of heart and passion behind the decision to make this film. I loved the script from day one. It was a joy to be on the sets. I was having such a good time playing the character; I felt confident that people would respond positively to it. I was able to find enjoyment and connection with the character."
'A upstanding success at the box office'
Film trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared the box office collection of Salman Khan starrer. He tweeted, "#Bharat Collection till now ₹ 207.50 cr nett. Lifetime collection heading towards ₹ 210-211 cr. Film overpowered bad reviews & turned out to be a upstanding success at the box office. 200 cr+ is a fantasy of many top stars in the industry but considered moderate for Salman."
