The Delhi Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, approved several key projects on Thursday.
These included an amendment in the Delhi Sikh Gurdwaras Act, 1971, for the inclusion of Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo in Bhatinda as the fifth Takhat, the Delhi government said.
The AAP government also increased by ₹2 lakh, the annual family income criteria for the vocational training scheme, run by its agency DSFDC for SC, ST, OBC, minorities and differently abled persons.
It also approved a rehabilitation scheme under which manual scavengers will be provided with one-time cash assistance of ₹40,000, concessional loans of up to ₹15 lakh and credit-linked capital subsidy of ₹3.25 lakh.
