Maralkar appointed GPSC secy

Senior Goa Civil Service officer Yatindra Maralkar has been appointed as secretary of Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC).

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told the media on Wednesday that the cabinet has given approval for appointment of Maralkar as the secretary of GPSC.

Sawant also said that the cabinet has also given approval to the proposal for awarding contract to Sulabh International for supplying bio-toilets under the Open Defecation Free scheme.

Meanwhile, sources said that the council of ministers also discussed the issue

of private taxi owners during the cabinet meeting. According to sources, the cabinet deliberated on private taxi owners and GoaMiles app-based taxi service issue for nearly one hour.
