Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh has come under the radar once again. The movie, which is already being termed misogynystic, now has landed in another trouble, this time from a doctor who is upset after watching the film.
Times Now goes on to report that a Mumbai-based doctor has gone ahead and filed a complaint against the makers of Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer for showing doctors in a bad light. for the uninitiated, Shahid Kapoor is shown as an alcoholic surgeon in the film, who also indulges in all kinds of drugs to heal his heartbreak.
Not only that, the doctor has gone on to file a report asking ban over the film. "Seeing that this could bring all doctors into a bad light, the doctor has filed a complaint with the Mumbai police and has also written a letter to the central Health Minister, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, State Health Ministry, and the Censor Board of Film Certification to stop the screening of this film Kabir Singh," states the report.
The doctor, reportedly, feels that the movie has distorted the image of a doctor. Interestingly this happens days after doctors protested after being beaten up by a family and the professionals went on pan-India ban post the incident.
Kabir Singh is the official remake of Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey starrer Arjun Reddy, which was a Telugu blockbuster when it released in 2017. Interestingly both Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh have been directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
