BJP National Vice President and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has exuded confidence that the party would wrest power in Telangana after the 2023 Assembly election.
Mr Singh thanked the people of the state for backing the BJP in the recent Lok Sabha election.
Under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah the BJP was forging ahead, he said while addressing a press conference at the BJP state office here on Wednesday.
He said that the time has come for the end of family rule and caste politics, adding that the party was striving to bring in its fold people from all walks of life.
Mr Chouhan said that Mr.Modi would launch the party’s membership drive on July six and the campaign to enroll members would be held from July seven to August eleven.
BJP’s state unit President K.Laxman was among those who were present.
