Why Wait For The Black Series When You Can Have O.CT’s 641 HP Mercedes-AMG GT R?

We have lost track of the number of tuners that have added the Mercedes-AMG GT to their portfolio a long time ago. However, there’s one name that we won’t forget in the near future, and that’s O.CT.

The German company has reprogrammed the ECU of the 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 that powers the AMG GT R and has managed to obtain an impressive 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque, compared to the standard car’s 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft).

Aside from the bump in power, which has definitely dropped the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint that normally takes an already impressive 3.6 seconds, O.CT promises improved fuel consumption and consistent carbon dioxide emissions too. They’re also offering the optimization with a 5-year warranty – but they don’t disclose a price, so interested parties will have to contact them.

On that particular car, black is the dominating color and has been used not only on all body panels, but on the Panamericana grille, wheels and pretty much everywhere else. O.CT hasn’t opened the doors of the tuned GT R in front of the camera, so the interior has probably remained the same – which, given the stock car’s impeccable quality and stunning design, is a plus in our book.
