BJP need not teach me about governance: CM

Lashing out at K. Shivanagouda Naik, BJP MLA for Deodurg, who had alleged that Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy was concentrating only on developing districts where his family members had been elected from, the Chief Minister hit back saying he need not learn about governance from the BJP. He was addressing media representatives at Yermarus Circuit House here on Wednesday before leaving for Keregudda village in Manvi taluk for the Grama Vaastavya programme.

“The people of the entire State are my family members and equal importance is being given to every district. Everybody knows how much money was allocated to Ramanagaram [Mr. Kumaraswamy’s constituency] when B.S. Yeddyurappa was the Chief Minister and how much money is being allocated to Shikaripur [Mr. Yeddyurappa’s constituency] now during my tenure,” the Chief Minister said.

Referring to Mr. Naik’s padayatra demanding a road between Gugal and Deodurg, the Chief Minister said the project was already approved.

On the booklet released by the BJP on the villages that Mr. Kumaraswamy had stayed in during his first edition of Grama Vaastavya, the Chief Minister said he would answer all the questions raised in the booklet in the Assembly.
