District Collector Seeram Sambasiva Rao, who held a meeting with department officials, said that the facility had been linked to all the departments at the Kozhikode collectorate to provide hassle-free service to the public. As many as 28 offices of various departments and all Revenue departments would come under the ambit of the e-office.

Citizens would not have to queue up at government offices to get the services. The portal has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre.
