Arwed Schmidt studied Industrial Engineering at Technical University Berlin with focus on renewable energy systems and electric mobility and completed his academic education with a doctoral thesis at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Siemens Corporate Technology with the title “Fleet Management of Electric and Autonomous Service Agents in Urban Local Passenger Traffic” in 2016.
Following that, he worked as a project coordinator within the field of electric and autonomous vehicles, first for Siemens Mobility in Munic, later for RISE Viktoria in Gothenburg, Sweden. Arwed Schmidt joined EasyMile’s new office in Berlin beginning of 2018 as Technical Sales Lead for German speaking countries, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.
