Man dies in police custody in Glen Waverley
A man has died in police custody in Melbourne's south-east and the cause of his death is being investigated.
Police said they were called to a Glen Waverley home on Madeleine Street after receiving reports a man was behaving erratically just before 8pm on Monday.
They said the man appeared to suffer from a medical condition while police and Ambulance Victoria paramedics were at the home.
Emergency services were not able to save the man, who died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.
An investigation has now been launched by the homicide squad, with oversight from the Professional Standards Command. This is the standard practice for deaths in police custody.
An autopsy will be conducted to try to determine the man's cause of death.
