MUMBAI: Low-cost carrier
SpiceJet flagged off a daily direct flight on the Durgapur-Mumbai route, under the regional connectivity scheme, UDAN on Tuesday.
"The under-served market of
Durgapur, West Bengal is the airline’s thirteenth destination under UDAN," said a statement issued by
Spice Jet.
The route was awarded under UDAN III and is exclusive to the airline. The airline's flight SG 6354 departs Mumbai at 7.50am the return flight from Durgapur departs at 10.45 am.
