Continuing its investigation into multi-crore IMA fraud, the Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by Joint Police Commissioner B R Ravikantegowda, have seized Rs 11.72 crore worth Gold ornaments, Silver articles, Diamond jewellery,Pearls, 58 live bullets, .32 revolver and cash Rs 13.45 lakhs during raid conducted on IMA Jewellery and IMA Shops in the City.
Police, in a release here on Tuesday, said that the seized articles included 41.62 kg Gold ornaments, 14.5 carrot Diamond jewellery, 72.24 kg Silver articles, 60 carrot Pearls, 58 Live Bullets, one .32 Revolver and Rs 13.45 lakhs cash.
The kingpin Mohamad Mansoor Khan, against whom Blue Cornor notice was issued and Passport cancelled, is still absconding and it was suspected that he is hiding in Dubai. He had released a Video recently alleging that there his threat on his life and ready to return to India and repay the investors their dues, provided he and his family members were given protection by Police since some politicians and influential persons are trying to close down IMA and murder him and his family members.
