Mini unveiled their latest John Cooper Works model in prototype form at the 24 Hours Nürburgring last weekend.

Only 3000 models will be built when production begins in 2020. 

According to Mini, the JCW prototype set a lap time of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in less than eight minutes, the previous generation JCW completed the lap in 8:23mins. 

Power comes from a four-cylinder turbocharged engine with more than 220kW, and styling-wise you can expect wide open air intakes, massive twin exhausts, large light alloy wheels, and a big roof spoiler.
