Applications invited for scholarships

PUNE: The Maharashtra State Board of Technical and Higher Education (MSBTHE) has invited applications from open category students across streams for scholarships for higher education abroad for the year 2019-20.

Last year, the Maharashtra State Government had made a decision to provide scholarships to the open category students, for pursuing post-graduation degree, diploma or PhD at universities that are ranked above 200 as per Times Higher Education or Quacquarelli Symonds rankings. 

Each year, 20 such students will be selected. The students of arts, commerce, science, management, law, engineering/architecture and pharmacy courses are eligible to apply.

The application process has already begun, and those who are interested can apply at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/foreignscholarship2019 till July 13.
