Rajkot: Woman stabbed dozen time by teenage son

RAJKOT: A 45-year-old woman was brutally stabbed a dozen time by her minor son in Bharatnagar locality of Bhavnagar on Monday evening.
Police refused to reveal the name of the accused as he is a 17-year-old minor. “We are yet to probe the reason for the crime, as the complaint in this connection is yet to be lodged. Our preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused had stabbed his mother in a fit of rage over some domestic dispute,” said an official from Bharatnagar police station.
The woman was stabbed in her back. When she was brought to Sir T Hospital, the knife was still stuck in her back. “Her condition is serious. We are waiting for her to come around to record her statement,” added the official.
