‘Thrown out of Jaladrushyam, we are now building offices in 32 districts’

Three-member committee will be formed to supervise work: Harish Rao

MLA and former Minister T. Harish Rao said the TRS could lay foundation stone for party offices in all the 32 districts across Telangana, which in 2001 was unable to even establish its main party office. “When we established our party office at Jaladrushyam, we were asked to vacate by the then leaders. Now, we have a party office in Hyderabad, and are laying foundation stone for offices in 32 districts. A three-member committee will be formed to supervise the construction of the buildings and the work will be completed by Dasara,” said Mr. Harish Rao while addressing a gathering after laying foundation stone for the party office in the district headquarters town on Monday. He said in a first, a party was able to lay foundation stone for its offices in 32 districts on a single day.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson V. Roja Sharma said all efforts would be made to complete the construction before the deadline. On the occasion, Mr. Harish Rao, MLA V. Satish Kumar, MLC Farooq Hussian and others announced that they would donate their one-month salary to the party for building the offices. In Sangareddy, Lok Sabha member K. Prabhakar Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson P. Manjusree, former MLA Chinta Prabhakar and others participated in the programme held at Kashipur in Kandi mandal headquarters.

In Medak, ZP Chairperson Hemalatha, MLAs M. Padma Devender Reddy, Ch. Madan Reddy, MLA S. Subhash Reddy and others participated in the event.
