Smoke billowed out of a Rhyl takeaway after a cooker caught fire.
Flats above Jolly's Grill and Pizza, on Water Street, had to be evacuated last night after a blaze started at around 9pm.
Images from the scene showed smoke billowing from the business as firefighters from the seaside town battled to bring the blaze under control.
A spokesman for North Wales Fire Service said: "We were called at 9.04pm and were at the scene until 10.09pm.
"Two crews from Rhyl have attended the scene and used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to fight the fire.

"The cause was a range cooker setting on fire and the cause was accidental.

"There was 50% damage to the takeaway, but the flats were fine."
Nobody was hurt in the fire.
