FALL RIVER -- A man with a knife allegedly robbed a Plymouth Avenue gas station last week, and police are asking the public for help tracking him down.
On Wednesday, June 19, about 5 a.m., Fall River Police Officers Timothy Magan and Nicholas Hoar were dispatched to Shell Gas, 372 Plymouth Ave., for a report of an armed robbery.
A black male wearing a black jacket with a blue hoodie underneath entered the store, armed with a knife, and demanded that the clerk give him all of the money in the register, according to police. The clerk refused to comply and began using a nearby chair to create distance between himself and the suspect.
The suspect then began reached for and stole cigarettes from above the counter, according to police.
