Lenovo has announced a couple of smartphones in its Z-series line-up, which is currently available in China. The Lenovo Z6 Pro is the flagship handset in the new series that runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, while the Z6 Youth Edition is a more affordable version of the handset that runs on the Snapdragon 710 chipset. The company has been teasing the launch of the standard Lenovo Z6 from some time now, and in a Weibo post, Lenovo’s Vice President Chang Cheng has confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 730 SoC. The CPU will be clocked at 2.2GHz and is touted to deliver 35 percent improved performance over its predecessor.
