Two arrested for molesting 14-year-old girl in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Two persons have been arrested for allegedly molesting and abusing a 14-year-old girl. Officers from Patuli police station said the girl - a student of a reputable central Kolkata school - claimed she was asked by her neighbour to visit him, after which the main accused, 20-year-old Salman Molla, abused her. The other accused has been identified as Bhuban Bhadra. All three are residents of Patuli.
"The incident took place on Thursday. The girl's mother caught the accused red-handed. A case was registered and we arrested the duo. Both were produced in a local court on Friday and sent to police custody till June 29," said an officer.
