15-year-old tribal student raped, 1 arrested

MALDA: A 15-year-old tribal girl from Mahadebpur village in Gazole was raped, allegedly by two youths on Friday. She is a Class VIII student at a local school but was not a regular there. Cops nabbed one of the youths, Pankaj Mandal, and are looking for the other.
The girl had gone out of her home in the afternoon. When she failed to return after a long time, her family began a search.
Soon, they found her amid the bushes, lying unconscious and naked. They saw one of the suspects, Bibek Sarkar, standing nearby while Mandal was fleeing the spot.
The girl was taken to a hospital, where she revealed that the duo had raped her.
