3 of a family among 4 killed in road accident

HISAR: Four persons, including a couple and their son, were killed late on Friday night in a motorcycle-car collision near Sherpura on Adampur-Bhadara road in Hisar district, the police said.
All the deceased were riding a bike, while two in the car also received injuries. The deceased were identified as Jagat Singh (28), his wife Sunita (25), son Kalu (3) and niece Seema (8) -- all residents of Dhani Mohabbatpur village of Hisar.
According to the police, the car was coming from Adampur side, while the motorcycle was coming from the opposite direction, from Bhadara side. As the vehicles neared Sherpura, the two vehicles collided head-on. One of the four persons riding the bike died on the spot, another on the way to hospital, while the two others succumbed during treatment. Two persons aboard the car are also said to have suffered serious injuries.
The police said that Jagat Singh was riding the bike, along with his son, wife and niece, and was going to his home in Dhani Mohabbatpur from Bhadara. Jagat Singh died on the spot and Kalu passed away while being taken to the hospital. Seema and Sunita succumbed during the treatment.
