Bengal police fired on 2 party workers in Bankura for raising ‘Jai Shree Ram’ slogans, alleges BJP

Bharatiya Janata Party has alleged that two of its workers were injured in firing by West Bengal Police in Bankura after they raised ‘jai shree ram’ slogans. A 14-year-old boy has also been injured in the police firing. The BJP and TMC have been in a bitter battle in West Bengal where the former made significant inroads after the Lok Sabha elections. However, even the elections concluded, political violence continued in the state with members of both the parties getting killed in clashes.
