BENGALURU: A 32-year-old homemaker living in central business district (CBD) has filed a police complaint accusing her husband of threatening her from jail. The man was arrested in February on charges of molesting his daughter.

According to the woman, he threatened her because she had filed the molestation complaint which landed him in prison. Following her complaint in February, police had produced the man before a local court, which remanded him in judicial custody at Central Prison (Parappana Agrahara).
"Recently, my brother-in-law gave me his mobile phone saying someone wanted to talk to me. Not knowing the person's identity, I spoke on the phone, only to hear my husband's voice. He screamed and said the day he comes out, he would kill me," police quoted from the woman's complaint.
