Parul University’s foreign students on cloud nine

VADODARA: Dressed in traditional graduation kurtas, 128 international students were all on cloud nine as they were conferred their degrees certificates during a pre-convocation ceremony recently held at Parul University (PU).
The diverse blend of students was spread across 2 continents representing 30 nationalities. The young graduates were all upbeat as many of them have bagged their dream jobs.
Cristopher Massaquoi, a B tech computer science engineering student from West Africa has been placed at a firm in Ivory Coast along with Amihere Albert Cudjoe, a B Tech automobile engineering student. The students got placed with a starting package of Rs 2.5 lakh.
Another student - Nawa Mututwa, who completed his B pharm, has been placed at an Abu Dhabi based pharmacy with monthly salary package of Rs 1.75 lakh.
Alex D’souza, a B Sc paramedical and health science student, has bagged her placement at a UK-based hospital as a radiology technician.
