Septic tank deaths: Third partner of restaurant held from Rajasthan

Vadodara: The third partner of Hotel Darshan where seven workers had died of inhaling toxic fumes in a septic tank was arrested by Vadodara rural police on Sunday.
Abbas Yusuf Suneshra, who lives in Patan, was arrested from Barmer district in Rajasthan. Police said that he was hiding in a hotel there and on receiving information about him, he was picked up and arrested. “There are in all 13 partners of the restaurant where the untoward incident took place, but of these 13 only four are active partners,” said deputy superintendent of police K V Solanki. He added that as an active partner Suneshra is also responsible for the deaths of the seven workers thus his name has been added as the accused along with fourth partner – Masuma Ehsaan Ali Palsaniya.

Palsaniya is yet to be arrested. Earlier last week, the two main partners Hassan Abbas Bhoraniya and his brother Imdad were arrested from Fatehgunj after being on run for four days.
Seven workers had died in the septic tank on the night of June 14 when they went inside one after the other.
