BERHAMPUR: Mystery shrouds death of additional project director, District Rural Development Agency, Kandhamal, after his body was recovered from his official quarters at Phulbani on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Dhruba Charan Singh, 37, of Atabira in Baragarh district. He was unmarried and staying alone in Phulbani, police said. Some staff of his office went to his quarters when he did not attend a meeting in the office. When he did not open the door, they entered the room by breaking the door. They found the body lying near the cot and informed police. "We rushed to the quarters and recovered the body. The body was taken to Phulbani hospital for postmortem," said inspector in-charge, Phubani Town police station, Tripati Choudhury.
