ACB sleuths raid engineers' homes, offices in Mysuru, Hassan

MYSURU/HASSAN: Anti–Corruption Bureau sleuths on Friday raided houses of two engineers in Mysuru and Hassan for allegedly amassing wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income.
Residences and offices of Arshad Pasha, junior engineer, department of panchyath raj, Mysuru, and assistant engineer, Channegowda, public works department, Hassan, were raided by different teams of ACB early on Friday. The search was carried out under the supervision of ACB SP JK Rashmi.
The raid at Arshad’s house was carried out at around 5.45 am.

Meanwhile, a team of ACB officers led by DSP landed at PWD Assistant Engineer Channegowda's house in Hemavathi Nagar around the same time. But the engineer and his family were not at home. The search was commenced soon after Channegowda arrived.
An officer disclosed that preliminary investigation has revealed that the officials have amassed wealth disproportionate to their known sources of income. During the search, ACB officers have found documents of other properties also
