I am 23 years old. I am investing Rs 4,000 in single fund: Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund. My aim is to have a corpus of Rs 2-3 crore in long term, say, 22-23 years. My risk appetite is moderately high. Can u suggest me some funds for my portfolio? How should I divide Rs 4,000 among these funds?

Your are currently investing in a highly-rated large & mid cap scheme. Since you have a high risk appetite, the scheme is in line with your risk profile. You may continue with it.
Assuming an annual return of 12 per cent, you should invest Rs 15,434 every month to create Rs 2 crore after 22 years. You should invest Rs 23,150 every month to create Rs 3 crore in 22 years.
Since you are investing a modest sum, you can invest the entire money in a scheme. You can think of diversifying your investments when the investment amount becomes large after a few years. Even when you are investing a large sum of money, the total number of schemes in your
mutual fund portfolio shouldn't exceed four or five.
