A Melbourne father of two has been charged with a terror offence after allegedly planning to travel overseas to 'engage in hostile activities'.
Khaled Temssah, 29, was arrested by Victorian police at his Mantello Holden workplace in Roxburgh Park, 20km north of Melbourne's CBD, shortly after 8.30am on Thursday.
He is set to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday charged with preparing for an incursion into a foreign country for the purpose of engaging in hostile activities.

No further arrests are expected, but the investigation is ongoing.
Temssah, who has worked as a car salesman for three years, recently returned to Australia from a trip to Saudi Arabia's Mecca, 9News reported.
The 29-year-old's colleague told 9News he was a warm and charitable person who spoke against violence and terrorism actively on his social media.
He was also known to be a devout Muslim who criticised others within his faith for not assimilating with Australian culture.
Temssah's co-worker said he was dedicated to his beliefs praying five times a day and visiting a mosque on Fridays.
Counter-terrorism police searched his office and car before taking him away for questioning.
Police have said there is no ongoing threat to the Victorian community.
