In Maharashtra, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook parts of Satara district this morning. MeT department officials said in Pune that the epicentre of the quake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometres.

Satara is located around 120 kilometres from Pune. No casualty or damage to property has been reported yet.
