“Rooted in Nature and Humanity,” the June Show at DeBlois Gallery, features work by three artists, all of whom share a common bond with the natural world. Sculptor Neal Personeus’ works are composed almost entirely of found materials, creating intricate driftwood landscapes crafted from the flotsam and jetsam of Cape Cod. Working in 3D, artist Roland Lavoie visualizes his creations within fallen trees and logs. Through the process of hand-carving these pieces, Lavoie creates exquisite, functional, one-of-a-kind bowls and centerpieces. Jason Smith’s paintings are rooted in the mysticism and mythology of ancient cultures. The show continues at the gallery on 134 Aquidneck Ave., in Middletown through June 30. Hours are 1 to 5 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday. Free admission. For more information, visit www.debloisgallery.com.

"Full Circle," an exhibit celebrating the work of the late artist Alison Horvitz, will be on display through June 28 at Bristol Community College's Grimshaw-Gudewicz Art Gallery at Bristol's Fall River campus at 777 Elsbree St.
