Nagpur: CISF officer Pavan Negi, who was currently posted at Nagpur airport, and five family members lost their lives in a road accident at Tyuni in Dehradun district on Monday morning. The Alto car in which they were travelling from Banpur lost control and fell into a deep gorge killing all of them on the spot, local police said.
The CISF officer along with his wife Rashmi, daughter Ishika, son Arav and two relatives, Murti Devi and Suman Devi, were found dead after the accident. Negi is survived by father and mother. The officer was posted at Nagpur airport and was on leave till June 22.
Local police said all six passengers in the car were dead by the time rescuers reached them. All the bodies were recovered from the accident spot and sent them for post mortem.
