Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently announced the Honor 20 series in India. Comprising the Honor 20i (review), Honor 20 (review) and Honor 20 Pro (first impressions) smartphones, the most affordable handset in the lineup goes on sale in India starting today. The device can be fetched from Flipkart and select retail stores across the country. The Honor 20i price in India is set at Rs 14,999 for the lone 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Midnight Black, Phantom Blue, and Phantom Red colour options and early bird offers such as no-cost EMI, Rs 2,200 and additional 125GB of data to Jio subscribers on Rs 198 and Rs 299 recharges. Additionally, Axis Bank cardholders will get an instant discount of 10 percent.
As for the flagships Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, which were unveiled alongside the Honor 20i in India, will be available from June 25th onwards. While the Honor 20 comes with a sticker price of Rs 32,999, the Honor 20 Pro will set you back to Rs 39,999. The handsets will also come with similar launch offers as the Honor 20i. Additionally, the company will be offering 90 percent value if the consumers decide to return the Honor 20 or 20 Pro within 90 days of purchase.
Honor 20 series specifications
Starting with the Honor 20i, the handset packs the Kirin 710 SoC and a 6.21-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with a dewdrop notch. The handset runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9 and houses a 3,400mAh battery with 10W charging support. For photography, it rocks triple cameras on the rear with a 24-megapixel f/1.8 shooter, paired with an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera gets a 32-megapixel unit, which is backed by AI. The fingerprint scanner is mounted at the back panel of the phone.
The Honor 20 and 20 Pro on the other hand, features a 6.26-inch display FHD+ display with a punch-hole on the top-left corner and the Kirin 980 chipset with GPU Turbo 3.0 at their core. The Honor 20 smartphone ships with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and the Pro model gets 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Both the phones have quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter on the front. While the Honor 20 Pro comes with a 4,000mAh battery, the Honor 20 is driven by 3,750mAh cell. Both phones offer 22.5W fast-charging support.
