Dubai-based airport services provider Marhaba has announced the opening of a new 24-hour airport lounge in Singapore Changi Airport’s Terminal 3.
The new lounge replaces the Dnata lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Business Traveller Asia-Pacific reviewed this lounge in 2017.
The new lounge provides seating for more than 130 passengers. Lounge guests can enjoy free wifi services, charging points, an international buffet and shower facilities.
Passengers who want to access the new Marhaba lounge can make online bookings on Marhaba’s official website from S$55 (US$40). Alternatively, they can also gain access via one of the lounge loyalty card programmes.
Established in 1991, the Marhaba brand is part of the Dubai National Air Transport Association (Dnata), a major air services provider. It offers airport meet and greet services in Dubai and now operates 12 departure airport lounges in Dubai International Airport, Al Maktoum International Airport, Geneva Airport, Melbourne Airport, Zurich Airport and Singapore Changi Airport.
In addition to the newly opened lounge at Terminal 3, Dnata also operates a lounge at Terminal 1 in Changi Airport.
Changi Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world for international traffic, with a passenger capacity of over 65 million in 2018. The airport has recently opened Jewel, a mixed-use development housing an indoor garden and a shopping mall, where passengers can find Changi Lounge, a pay-per-use lounge with a standard admission fee of S$38 (US$27.74) for adults.
