GURUGRAM: Three bike-borne youths robbed a 25-year-old man of his gold ring and cash near sector 4/7 Chowk on Saturday morning.
The complainant — Ram Prakash — told police that the incident happened when he was on his way to the bus stand. “I am an MA student and was heading to Panipat for my examination. I left my home in Sector 7 around 4.40am for the bus stand. When I reached near the sector 4/7 chowk, three bikers blocked my way, thrashed me and snatched my wallet and gold ring. As the exam was important for me, I left for Panipat and filed a complaint after returning to Gurugram the next day,” Prakash said.

An FIR has been registered against the trio under sections 379-A (snatching), 34 (common intention) of the IPC at Sector 9 A police station on Sunday.
“We are trying to recover the CCTV footage of the area. We will arrest them as soon as they are identified,” said inspector Basant Chauhan, SHO of Sector 9A police station.
