Tata Motors has launched the AMT gearbox in two more trims of the Tigor – XMA and the XZA+. The XMA and XZA+ variants are priced at Rs 6.5 Lakhs and Rs 7.35 Lakhs, (ex-showroom Chennai), respectively. The AMT variants commands a premium of Rs 45,000 over the corresponding MT variant. Earlier, the AMT was only available in the XZA variant.

The 5-speed AMT is only available with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine delivers 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque. It have mileage of 20.3kmpl. The Tigor is also available with 1.0 liter Revotorq diesel engine delivers 70 Bhp of power and 140 Nm of torque. And, it  have mileage of 24.7kmpl. 

The Tata Tigor will compete against the same rivales - Honda Amaze, Ford Figo Aspire, Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Volkswagen Ameo, Hyundai Xcent and the Tata Zest.
