Various Competitions Organized by Sanskrit Department
Jalandhar, June 18, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous & Heritage institution, No.1 College in India (India Today Ranking 2019), Jalandhar's Department of Sanskrit organized an Essay Writing Competition, Shloka Uchaaran Competition & Paper Reading Competition. Prof. Shivani Sharma, Punjab University, Chandigarh, Sumar Mahajan & Dr. Madhumeet, Dean, Student Welfare were the judges for the competition. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the achievers on their achievement and also distributed prizes to them. She averred that this type of competitions infuses confidence in the students and motivates them to work hard in their life. She also lauded the efforts of Dr Neeraj Sharma, Head, Department of Sanskrit for this initiative and averred that this type of competitions should be a regular feature in the college.
