Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Monday accompanied his son Nakul Nath, elected from Chindwara seat in Madhya Pradesh, who arrived to take oath as new MP.

Nakul Nath was elected from Chindwara seat in Madhya Pradesh, the only seat the Congress party managed to win.

The father and son posed for a photograph for mediapersons. They, however, did not give any byte to them.

Kamal nath, who had won from the Lok Sabha seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, did not contest this time and his son was fielded by the Congress from this seat.

Out of 29, the Congress party had won two seats in the last elections. Kamal Nath represented this seat nine times since 1980.

In the wake of massive defeat in recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, Kamal nath had come under criticism for getting ticket for his son in Chindwara.
